You’ll be over the moon with these melt-in-your-mouth slow-cooked lamb shanks. Served on the bone with a minty sauce that packs a real flavour punch.
We’re what you call “down to earth” delicious. You’ll find no UFOs (Unidentifiable Food Objects) in our Lamb Shanks. We keep it real with just the very best NZ lamb, herbs and spices.
Microwave (1100W) – 6 Min:
Place bag with shank into a microwave bowl and cut one corner of the bag. Heat on high for 6 minutes Let stand for 1 minute. Carefully remove and open the bag. Stir before serving.
Boil-in-bag – 20 Min:
On a stove top, bring a saucepan of water to boil. Place whole bag into the water and heat for 20 minutes. Remove pan from heat and let stand for 1 minute. Carefully remove the bag, open, and serve onto a plate.
Oven – 25 Min:
Preheat oven to 220°C. Remove the lamb from the bag and place in an oven proof dish with gravy and cover. Place on the middle shelf of oven and heat for 20 minutes. Remove cover and baste the shanks with the gravy. Increase the heat to 250°C and place tray on top shelf, grill for up to 5 minutes to crisp. Remove and serve.
